Easy to schedule online. No wait at all. Phlebotomist was great. No issues finding the vein. Took 16 vials of blood from me. No complaints.

I just had my blood drawn from Paula. In quest diagnostics, state street meriden in the community health center. Every time I go there, Paula is there, and she is wonderful. I could go to any quest if I want to. And I don't I go to any others? because of her, with her sense of humor.. Her personality and even more importantly, I'm a very, very hard draw. In other words, it's hard to find my veins. She gets it done immediately. I went to the emergency room last week. And they couldn't find it. It took a machine, to find it. Paula gets it done right away. What a pleasure I can't even tell you how important that is. And how much I think of her, thank you, Paula, for a job. Well done. And I hope your supervisors understand how big of an asset you are to quest diagnostics. Thank you, paula for a job.Very very well done. You are the best.

I went to the Lewis Ave lab (MidState) for my annual physical labs ordered by my physician. I thought it might be different than the Wallingford location, where I saw this repulsive tactic. The phlebotomist insisted I give them a credit card, claiming my insurance wouldn't cover the labs and threatening that I would owe a ridiculous $250.
Quest Diagnostics uses aggressive, predatory software that quotes worst-case retail prices just to scare patients into giving up their financial information upfront. It is a corporate scare tactic to protect their bottom line at the expense of patient frustration and anxiety. It is totally ridiculous how they treat customers. They have a full digital connection to insured benefits and can see exactly what will be paid.
The proof? This simple blood draw was sent to my insurer priced at an outrageous $1,400. The insurer stated they only allow $100 -which is exactly what Quest accepted as full payment from them. I owed $0.
The bottom line is Quest tries to bully customers by threatening a fake bill, knowing it in no way resembles what the customer will be responsible for.

Set an appointment online, at, I thought was a specific address only to find out it was at another. The portals are confusing. A summary should be added to the end to ensure of the information and give the opportunity to correct what may be wrong.
