Red Ribbon in Bolingbrook is one of my favorite places for cakes and pastries. My favorites are Chocolate Mousse and Mango Cake very moist and flavorful, and the variety of baked goods gives everyone something to enjoy. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and provides excellent customer service especially Ms. Vanessa. We keep coming back because of her. I’ll give this Bakeshop a 10star if I could!🙌

I ordered assorted mamon and chicken empanadas online yesterday. When I got home, I discovered that the cheese mamon already had visible mold on it, despite the expiration date being listed as 6/1/26.
Today, I returned to the store to exchange the moldy mamon and also placed another online order for empanadas. While in the store, I noticed that several of the cheese mamon displayed for sale also appeared to have mold. I brought this to the attention of the staff member on duty. She simply apologized and then removed the affected products from the display.
I appreciate that the store honored the exchange for the moldy items I purchased; however, it is concerning that multiple expired or spoiled products were still available for sale. Food quality and safety should be a top priority, and customers should be able to trust that products on the shelves are fresh and safe to consume.
I would also like to provide feedback regarding customer service. The employee assisting me appeared indifferent to the situation and lacked the level of professionalism and concern that I would expect when handling a food safety issue. In contrast, the trainee present demonstrated a much more positive attitude and stronger customer-service skills. I believe additional customer-service training would be beneficial for the employee who assisted me.
I hope this feedback helps improve both product quality control and the customer experience moving forward.

Amazing palabok and empanadas!
This location is super clean and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. It's located right near 355! perfect for a quick bite, though keep in mind there are only a few seats inside. Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved the palabok, halo-halo, and pastries! We also tried the new ube milk on their menu—it’s a must-try! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Definitely coming back!
