He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and earned his medical degree at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Cupecoy, St. Maarten. He went on to complete his residency training in family medicine locally at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield.. As a first-generation physician, Dr. Ajmeri found medicine to be his medium for helping others.
