Such a different type of bun / burger but just works so well with a fresh idea!

It’s like a cheeseburger wrapped inside a bun! Such a simple idea but executed so well! Every bite was just amazing!

And for dessert, definitely have to try the cereal milk doughnuts! Whatever crushed cereal flavour is for the week covered in the cereal milk doughnut! This is made fresh and that first bite will definitely get you hooked!

Service, truly awesome! My first time here and I believe it was the owner who explained everything from the buns to the treats!

As an FYI, bunhaus is located inside a food hall on Yonge st north york called flip kitchens.

Was able to find the location, but definately can see how many folks would miss it if walking by Yonge St.

This restaurant is a take out location which also has a number of seating available shared with the many different food stalls along the same floor.

Bunhaus is one of the first restaurant along the hallway, and their menu had pictures of their many different buns available.

I chose the cheeseburger bun and had a brief discussion with the owner Branco. He explained the different offerings and was friendly and positive throughout.

Took a few minutes for the cheeseburger bun to be prepared and cooked.

The bun was quite tasty and I throughly enjoyed it. My wife tried it and she really enjoyed it as well. It reminded her of something she ate was a child, and she ate the majority of it and was upset that I didn’t get one for her ☹️

I can see how folks complain that the bun is a bit small for the price, but the quality of ingredients used I think the price is justified.

Bunhaus made my tummy a funhouse! Been here couple of times now and I love it.

Everything starts with the bun. Soft and chewy and slightly sweet, they are piping hot pillows of heaven as they come out of the Bunhaus oven. Who needs fillings when you have buns that good?

Luckily though, Branko (the owner) doesn't seem to think this way as he's come up with all sorts of interesting stuffings. I've tried the cheeseburgerbun, pizzabun, musubun (spam, egg, nori), and chimneydog, and all of them were tasty. I also tried the pineapple coconut milkshake, and it made me feel like I was in the tropics - yum!

It's amazing how gems sometimes come in the rounded form of a simple bun. Big fan here of Bunhaus, and would definitely recommend you try it out.

Amazing !! Have walked by this place many times but this time I finally went in! We tried the cheeseburger bun, pizza bun, and the herb&cheese bun, all of which were fantastic and for me, 2 buns were really filling. I’m definitely coming back to try the other buns. The bun had a slight sweetness to it and was so delicious, as well as everything also tasting fresh. The owner is also very kind and so friendly :)

TL;DR: Super delicious, convenient, and clean-to-eat for takeout.

Bunhaus has become my go-to spot for take out quick bites in the area. The buns are so amazing with plentiful flavour in the fillings. What I really love is that the form factor makes it so easy and convenient to eat when you're on the run. The size is really great to hold with one hand, the filling is actually filling (duh), and well contained inside the bun so it wouldn't be messy to eat.

Both Big Kahuna and Mushroom Bun are super tasty that it is hard to pick from, though they are the only two I have tried so far. The Big Kahuna is like Hawaiian but with a little bit of kick, and the Mushroom Bun is creamy mushroom heaven.

The cinnamon sugar mini-dounts are amazing and freshly-made in front of you. The fries are perfectly salted though I wish they are a bit crispier, but the dipping sauce makes up for it.

Brenko is super helpful and friendly, I always enjoyed chatting with him when it's not a busy day. There is also a pizza ghost kitchen called Checkmate Pizza that operates out of Bunhaus.

I would definitely recommend the place to anyone who is looking for something new in the area or looking for a convenient quick bite. Or if you are like me who just really likes mini donuts. Looking forward to trying all the buns and filling up the stamp card!
