Be warned - Ethan Allen is a retailer of false promises re quality, availability and fundamental customer service. They have failed me - a vested current customer and potential life long client - in every respect. Five months after ordering furniture - who knew they don't see anything in the store - its still on a slow boat from China...I guess. The explanation? "its back ordered". How can that be, given they don't carry inventory and only place your order when they've cashed your substantial deposit. An ironic insult which adds to the list of offenses? Products I ordered in January are now on sale, but "because mine isn't a new order, I'm not eligible for the sale price". Would that I could walk away from my deposit. Alas, such is not the case. And so I wait, and wait, and wait...

We had a problem with the installation of our bed (after we had already paid in full). Scheduling a service person was a problem (which was finally resolved after two weeks). Their sales staff did not check in with us to see if the problem was resolved...we e-mailed the manager TWICE with no reply!
