From the moment I reached out and inquired till the end of the move there is not enough thank you I can give. Jeremy was our main contact from the very beginning was professional and responsive to our questions. He met with my daughter to give us a quote and was through with not only what we need but cost and time.
The moving crew led by Roger was absolutely amazing. Not only was the stress of moving eliminated but their professionalism and friendly manner was so welcome. The detail to itemizing what was being packed to how careful they were with not only packing the truck to unpacking was amazing. Though we weren’t a large move … student moving from Ottawa to Georgetown, they handled it like it was. Roger and Lester unloaded in the end and again were amazing. Many thanks to Erkan (and team) for expertly and safely transporting our household goods from California to Nova Scotia!

From the moment we engaged with Erkan, transport communication was very clear, consistent, and professional. All our household goods were delivered on time and in great shape.

I have to add that members of our community were amazed at Erkan's ability to expertly and precisely handle the 18-wheeler at the local self-storage facility that offered limited space for maneuvering. (In fact, a couple of bystanders took photos and words of admiration spread in our local area).

The unloading process went exceptionally well. Everything was placed with care and consideration, especially a large crated piano. Erkan is an experienced driver/mover and his expertise shines through with the optimal placement of our boxes, furniture, etc.

We are extremely happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend Erkan (John Gray Moving & Storage) to anyone considering an international move of household goods.

I could write a novel about how impressed I was with Olympo and his team. To start, they were 30 minutes early and cleared ice that I was unable to, so they could safely traverse the walk. My apartment is second story, up a steep street access staircase, with a small front deck that has to be crossed to enter the space. The two men who moved my furniture traversed the space with complete ease. They managed to unload 7 pallets in 2 hours! That is insane! Every single one of my belongings was still in perfect condition by the end. They were patient as I identified the wrapped furniture, and were remarkably kind to boot! I would 100% use them for a move in the future. I am so delighted to have met each of them, and so grateful for the caliber of their work.

Babe Ruth may have been the “sultan of swat” but I can tell you from our recent moving experience that Andy Sultan is literally and figuratively the “sultan of moving”. The whole experience with John Gray Moving was fantastic from start to finish. They were extremely helpful with our move from Florida to the Laurentians, navigating Customs ain’t for the faint of🩵💜💙❤️but John Gray made the entire process seamless and almost easy! But the star of the show was clearly Andy, from packing us up in Florida on the actual day he said he’d be there, to loading the truck, never mind driving it, it’s a 72-footer, to delivering our goods to our home in the Laurentians, Andy was the captain of the ship, with great help from his crew I might add, but it was Andy who supervised the packing, organized the load in the moving van, and delivered it to us as if he’d done it a thousand times before, which he probably had! All in all our experience with John Gray Moving and Andy Sultan, God bless him, was as good as it could possibly get.

I had total of 30 boxes and none of my belongings were damaged. Some boxes got a bit crushed and some had a hole in it, however, it did not impact my goods. I believe that because I abused of bubble wrap and didn't leave any space in the boxes, I properly packed my things and was able to avoid any damage. Brandan from John Gray was very helpful since day one by providing me an estimate and answering my questions. It was my first time dealing with a moving from Montreal all the way to the West Coast, so a little stressful, but in the end, everything went well. The two movers at destination were very friendly, patient and had positive attitudes. I did not have any furniture and this company offered me their services that was suited my budget. Overall very satisfied with John Gray :)

I had an exceptional experience thanks to Andy! I was moving from Toronto to Halifax, and Andy went above and beyond to make the process smooth. Knowing that a storm was approaching on my moving day, he took the initiative to arrive a day early for preliminary tagging, saving me valuable time and allowing me to get on the road early enough to avoid the bad weather.

Andy was professional, polite, and courteous throughout the entire process. He arrived within 15 minutes of the communicated time at both locations—no small feat given the long distances involved. In Halifax, he even arrived ahead of schedule!

His attention to detail was outstanding. He used protective liners to ensure nothing was damaged, and I was particularly impressed with how carefully he handled my high-value items, including an 85-inch TV and a 57-inch monitor. John Gray moving did a large move into my home. Damaged my neighbours back walls and refused to take liability. One of workers actually had me sign contract then enter in that John Gray wasn’t responsible so he would get in trouble. When I told them what happened they didn’t believe me and left me stuck with the bill. Would never never never use them. Also one of workers wreaked of alcohol.

Had Andy move us from the US last month and had to write a review. His level of work ethic and professionalism was honestly astonishing. He answered all our questions and kept in contact with us after the load all the way across the border. He was so sweet and even was kind enough to send my wife some of his special coffee grounds when she mentioned she enjoyed coffee.
