ALLTERRA RUINED RIFLE BUILDING FOR ME!!!
Growing up in western Oregon I had been bow hunting for blacktail deer and Roosevelt elk for 9 years before I went on my first rifle hunt in 2017. I quickly realized that to be efficient and consistent you needed a system that would allow you to take those cross canyon shots with confidence. After returning from a successful mule deer hunt I dove in head first in the semi custom rifle world. The next 8 years consist of buying semi-custom and factory rifles, stripping them down, changing stocks, brakes, triggers etc. While I’ve had great luck and have been very successful with my builds I’ve always wondered what the “next level” is really like. In February of 2025 I decided to take a leap and buy an Allterra Carbon 300 prc. Once I got it home I knew this rifle was special and after 2 outings it pains me to pick up any of my other rifles. The action is pure butter, the bolt lift is fantastic and it just flat out shoots! The carbon hunter stock has quickly become my favorite, it provides an excellent platform for shooting prone but also quick awkward shots are flat out easier with this stock. I can’t wait to get my hands on an Allterra X. If you’re like me and have been wondering if the next level of rifles is actually worth it, it is. Grind it out, sell some things, do whatever it takes to get in a Allterra system you will not regret it. Thank you to the Allterra team for building a fantastic rifle.

Long overdue review of my rifle I got last spring. Wanted to wait until I put it through its paces before leaving a review that actually meant something. From the ordering process through shipping, Todd made it super simple and helped educate me on the seemingly endless options in the custom rifle world. I went with an Allterra-X in 6.5 PRC and couldn’t be happier. The rifle was a stud at the range but just recently proved itself in the field on my CO first rifle elk hunt. Managed to get my first public land bull in the White River National Forest and the rifle performed flawlessly over the entire week. We had every season of weather from rain to inches of snow and the rifle took all of the abuse with ease. Their bubble level helped me make a great shot and the custom ammo I got with the rifle absolutely hammered the bull…only needing a single shot and he was on the ground in seconds. Thanks again guys - you’ve earned a lifetime customer.

Todd and the entire team at Allterra were fantastic to work with, I literally couldn’t be happier about this purchase!

After shooting a sub 1" group at 300 yards in a significant cross-wind, I felt extremely confident in this gun shooting where I aimed it in the field. I was able to successfully connect on a very long shot on my 2025 mountain goat hunt in Colorado because of this incredible weapon - a true "functional piece of art!"

I have purchased five Allterra rifles in the last year !! They are without question some of the most accurate premium long range hunting rifles made. I’ve collected an array of different guns from every manufacturer in the industry and Allterra is consistently my favorite so far. The Answer rifle in 308 is a sub 1/2 inch MOA rifle that has a patented removable stock that I can put in my backpack. The rifle is simply incredible!

I found AllTerra Arms by scouring the web for the best custom precision long range rifles out there. There are several high end manufacturers in this industry, many of which I either own or have experienced. If you are reading through these reviews, then you may be exploring your options as I did. Rifles in this realm are a big investment, and you want to make sure you are making the right choice when shelling out your hard earned cash for something special.

Let me save you the time of searching for "the best" custom precision rifles, and stop here. You need a long range target gun? Need a precision rifle capable of taking down that trophy buck 700+ yards away? Or just looking for something to add to your collection and show off the craftsmanship and feel of the best bolt actions available? Then... stop here. AllTerra may be (currently) smaller and newer than some of the competitors, but they should be considered THE BENCHMARK.

Unmatched products that come with unmatched customer service are an extreme rarity these days. As I said, stop your search here and give AllTerra Arms a call. You won't be disappointed. I sure wasn't.
