Most of my experience with the Fairgrounds are during JazzFest weeks, which I attend every year. Surely a perfect venue for JazzFest, with its great music lineup, wonderful artisans, historical display booths, native American culture and dancea and arguably the best festival food you'll find at any music festival in the world. I've also attended the equestrian races during Easter events, a must visit family event representing the deep history and tradition of horse racing in New Orleans and Louisiana.

We have attended the Jazz Festival for years. Always a great to be had by all. The musical diversity is unmatched. You should experience it at least once. Rain or shine so come prepared. You may need rain gear. 10+ musical stages. Last weekend of April and first weekend of May.

I was lucky enough to be there on the first day . Awesome experience with lots of musicians. Due to lack of time unable to attend till today the last day of fest .

I have been to the big easy commonly known as New Orleans once before in the 90s great time. My wife has come here to the fair grounds many of times for the Jazz festival where several musicians take several stages to perform. This year was my first and it delivered! Sold out 2026 .big Frida, Tpain the eagles to name a few. Good food and energy. I enjoyed! The last time was for my 29th birthday I didn't do the festival but enjoyed bourbon street and a club in the ward.

Have visited a lot of race tracks over the years and this one I rate pretty high. Was clean good views from everywhere. Not a lot of food options but the basics with a little bit of Louisiana flair available. (Gumbo!). The paddock area is nice shaded areas as well as able to sit in the sun. The staff was all very friendly, easy parking. It did not charge in this particular day to get in. Overall, a very nice laid out race facility. And on a sidenote, whoever put the amazing horse photos on the bathroom stall doors, very well done-excellent!
