Food was amazing, burgers were absolutely incredible and fries were also really good. Bonus points as the guy tried his best to service us despite not understanding a lot of english. Atmosphere is nice, music is good and art on the wall is cool but the chairs were horrible so -1 stars.

So my youngest son and I decided on this joint before a recent Jays game and OMG are we so glad we did! I cannot say enough about the FOOD QUALITY, OUTSTANDING FRIENDLY SERVICE provided by Mohammed and the clean relaxed atmosphere!

Listen, there aren’t a lot of Burger places that hit a home one in all categories BUT this place absolutely does!! OH I forgot to mention the prices are more than reasonable and honestly I’ve paid more for way less at other places!

We ordered the Double Smash Burger, added bacon and held the pickles, with a medium sized hand cut homemade fries to share! We sat and about 7 mins later Mo served us our fresh, piping hot food! From bite one I knew this was something special! Soooo delicious and fresh with a perfectly balanced flavour profile with the beef bacon not over powering the burger but complimenting it perfectly!! The house sauce is to die for and we dipped our fries in it as well.

The thing I think that put this burger over the top was not only the ideal crust achieved on each burger patty but the fact that they butter the buns and lightly toast them on the flat top - WHAAAAAT? This adds a buttery warm melt in your mouth crunch!!! No joke - hands down the best smash burger in the GTA! And we’ve had burgers at many places, like Rosie’s, Burger Priest, Woodys etc! Congratulations to Mohammed and Simple Burger for offering a TOP QUALITY BURGER JOINT ON ALL LEVELS!! We will be back again and again and again my friend!! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

First time here. Burgers and Chicken Sandwich were so delicious. Also had loaded fries and so good. Will definitely come back here again. Definitely that burger joint that everyone has to check out.

Really artistic restaurant layout! Very beautiful. Food are served fast, people are really nice and friendly. The burgers are not just juicy but you can enjoy every single bite. I had a double burger, it just looks perfect when it’s served, like someone wrote on paper sticking to the fridge, it’s a “bite from heaven “, you should really check this out .

Been here a few times now and the burgers are always delicious. Also had the fries this time with a side a gravy to dip in which was delicious. Good music playing. Great area right on the corner of Christie across from the park. Great to take out and eat in the park in the warmer months. Definitely recommend!

This is our second time visiting and it wasn't as enjoyable as the first.
We ordered the chicken tenders and poutine.

The poutine was really good! Very tasty and proportions between fries/curds/gravy was great.

The tenders were not as good though. Not even tender. They were such thin slices (pounded cutlets basically) which made them incredibly tough, and not edible.

We do want to try again to have their burgers, but we're dissapointed to say the least to discover the tenders were inedible since they smelled so good from the bag.

Stumbled across thevplace last night ....spent 18$ on a burger fries and bottle water. ... excellent deal.

The burger was great give it 8.8 out of 10 fresh hot and tasty... the fresh cut fries are perfectly seasoned wow ...and no signs of nasty oil... they were amazing 9.8 out of 10...

Isn't must to the place small indoor seating and maybe 10 or 12 seats on outside corner side walk patio....

If you looking for a burger n fries this place is an excellent choice!

Walked by and saw this interesting place. I was on my way to get a dumpling but something made me switch to a burger. Im SO glad I did. This smash burger was out of this world. Savory, saucy and delicious. Had it with a Coke Zero and a side of fries. The owner or manager was an extremely friendly gentleman who took the order and got it lickity split. He was very friendly and made the experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful meal. Next time im in Toronto, I will be back.

I came across Simple Burger located on 735 Bloor St W, Toronto looking up best burgers in Toronto lol. So, I did my usual UBER Eats delivery and decided to order the simple cheeseburger combo with fries and pop and added Bacon and tomato to the burger. I also included a house salad and chocolate Brownie. The burger is good along with the fries. I did not enjoy the house salad and did not become a fan for the brownie. Maybe some icing or if it was more soft and chewy. I like the way the burger is done. I would recommend others to try Simple Burger. It is good.

Simple Burger is my favourite burger shop in the area, maybe even in the city. no lie, i eat a meal here at least once a week. The fries are so fresh and they burgers are not completely smashed which results in the perfect burger patty to satisfy the burger craving.
the onion rings are also really tasty and addictive, the poutine is also a solid choice if you're really hungry - they have the perfect fries for it.
they have a very nice outdoor seating area, i thoroughly enjoy the music selection, too.

Great little burger joint right next to Christie Pits park. Had the double patty burger combo with onion rings + 15% tip. Came to $32.49. Service was great, burger was very tasty. Not too salty, not too oily, perfect amount of pepper and sauce. The fries were good, the onion rings were clean and crunchy. The dipping sauce was a nice mayo based sauce, unlike the weird salad dressing sauces you’ll get at Harry’s or Dave’s Hot Chicken. Top 3 burger in the city. I’ll be coming back for sure
