My son has been going to Beyond Therapy for almost 3 years now! When he first started he was extremely withdrawn, not speaking, and would eat a few foods. They really live up their name “beyond therapy” they really do go the extra mile. Not just for our children, but for the parents as well. My son is thriving and now he can say over 50 words, he’s not afraid of trying new foods, and loves giving Mrs. Dorthy high fives! I can’t say enough great things! ❤️💙💚

I have just removed my son after much consideration. What started off really great and helpful quickly left me feeling uneasy. I am a working mom and my son is crazy active. These last few months have been extremely hard. We have been going to appointments as scheduled on March 25th the day my son had therapy we had to go to the emergency room due to an accident. We spent the entire day there working with doctors from the burn clinic. It was a really bad accident. His next appointment the 8th I did ask if my husband could bring him which would be later so instead of 12 it was 2 . Not a true cancellation because he was actually seen. I actually did cancel the 22nd because I just could not get off but it was scheduled for the following week the 29th. I talked to front desk . We went over the calendar and I thought all was well. I got a text from one of the therapist that read : “Hey! I saw Jaxson cancelled therapy for tomorrow -
Unfortunately, it will go down as a no-show, and I think it’s best to move to a float position at this point. you will need to contact the front office to schedule him. I totally understand It’s hard with your work schedule, but he has not been able to consistently attend his scheduled sessions. You’re welcome to call the front office tomorrow morning if you have any more questions about how that works” . I was a little taken back because “consistently” is a strong word and also I thought I had worked it out. After much back and forth I understood I was on flex and would have to call. No problem. I called and got him set and was ready to call back as their policy required. After speaking with my husband he said I will take it off your plate move him to the Ridgeland by his daycare and let me take him. I called the Ridgeland office left a voicemail about moving him and I got the following message: “but I did want to let you know, um, that I spoke with the Brandon clinic and we all maintain to the same attendance policy. Um, and so the best thing for you to do right now is for you to stay in the branding clinic and continue to be on the float, flexible list, and attend your sessions based on the attendance policy there. And then once that is completed, then if you're able, we can switch you over to the Ridgeland clinic. Thank you so much” . This is the voicemail transcript. I legit cried because how do you know I would or would not adhere to the attendance policy? Why can’t I do what’s best for my family and move to the Ridgeland office if this is one thing my husband can help with? The person in Ridgeland never even had a phone conversation with me to see what my families needs were she went off a conversation she had with the Brandon office which was probably terrible.
I will say it’s an amazing place and I believe the therapist truly do care and help the kids and I will be grateful for all the support they gave my little one. But for me I felt it best if we move on. Sometimes I was told one thing and then another. I felt like I was scrutinized for changing or canceling. It was just different and again it left me just full of anxiety. As someone who deals with so much this was just the last thing I needed so I had made the decision to leave. Just thought I’d share my story for the next working mom & dad.

My child is a part of the Beyond Therapy family. His speech therapist, Mrs. Danielle, and his occupational therapist, Mrs. Rachel, are very professional and hands-on with my son's developmental needs. I am so happy to be partnered with them!

My son has been going to Beyond Therapy since 6/26/24, and the progress he’s made is amazing! He had to get ear tubes and was experiencing some delays for his age. At first, I was nervous, but the staff quickly made me feel at ease—they are so friendly and supportive.

In just this short time, my son has gone from saying maybe 3 words to saying so many more! The improvement has truly blown me away. I also really appreciate how well they communicate with me. Anytime I have questions or concerns, they take the time to explain everything so I can fully understand.

I definitely recommend Beyond Therapy to anyone looking for speech or occupational therapy. They are simply the best! We love Ms. Whitney and Ms. Abby!

My experience with Beyond Therapy has been wonderful. There are multiple services provided for an array of therapeutic needs. Our family has benefited from the occupational therapists and speech therapy that they provide. My daughter has eating difficulties, and I am so relieved to say that she has made amazing progress in this area. She still goes to receive gross motor and fine motor skills therapy as well as speech therapy. I can not say enough good things about the staff and specialists at Beyond Therapy...they have helped myself and my daughter tremendously. After each session the therapists are happy to explain how session went, and what they worked on during session. They are great about keeping you informed about your child's progress, and how you can help at home. I really have been impressed with the facility and the services they provide.
