Mandy's is an aesthetically beautiful restaurant that offers a number of salads.

If you're looking for a heavier, calorie dense meal, this a great option in Ossington for salads. Most of the options on their menu look approximately like two servings. I looked at the menu, and the portions I believe are bit too big for a single serving to be considered healthy on average, or quite pricey. I believe one of their salads costs $25.00.

I came to Mandy's to review, what I could find, would be a well-balanced breakfast. I ordered one of their muffins, a yogurt parfait, and a ginger tumeric shot. I'll try one of their salads next time.

Food

Yogurt Parfait
For a large, heavy meal, it's good. It looks approximately 12 oz. and costs $9. It's tastes good and it is healthy, but it is too much sugar for a single serving for a meal all at once. There is a lot of added sugar in the yogurt parfait. I'd say in the berry compote itself and also in juice added to make it, and honey. I would say this parfait would equate somewhere between 550-600 calories with the large pecans and top granola/quinoa mix. It is healthy, but not all at once. If you get it, I'd eat half of it as a snack, and the other half later to process the sugar. If you workout or are athletic and can handle high calories/sugar all at once, the yogurt would be considered a snack. For quality, quantity, and price, I would give it 3/5.

Zucchini Walnut Muffin
As I'm reviewing muffins all over as I mentioned in my previous reviews they are a great breakfast snack, I decided to try their Zucchini Walnut Muffin. It costs $3.50. It's okay, it's made with regular all-purpose flour. It's not very nutritional, I'd say. It tasted incredibly sweet, very sugary. There is definitely zucchini in it, as you can see in the pictures. It was a medium size as well. It has some chopped walnuts on top, so it does have a bit of protein. I wouldn't recommend it though, I didn't like it much. It was also very squished, as you can see in the photo. I would say this muffin is like a nice dessert. Also, I think it has raisins? They didn't tell me, but you can take a look at the picture. It's hard to say, might be anywhere from 340 to 500+ calories. For quality, quantity and price, I'd say it's 2.5/5.

Ginger Tumeric Shot
This shot costs $4.50. To be honest, I kind of wanted a fresh juice but they didn't have anything fresh-pressed. This is cold-pressed. This is a great healthy choice, but it's highly expensive. I'm not entirely sure what the point of shots are, they are quite small (60ml). Also, the ginger is very strong. Sometimes they sell ginger shots at other places, which are similarly, quite strong, and I get it diluted in hot water when I'm feeling under instead of tea. By itself, this shot has a pretty strong taste. It's great to take right after a meal. For quality, quantity, and price, I would give it 4/5.

All three together, it costs just under $20.

Service

The person at the front was great. Helpful, kind and attentive. Quick as well.

The only comment I have, is I found this thing in the muffin and had asked what was in the muffin. I didn't eat it because I like to know the food I eat beforehand. Hopefully they can provide a better breakdown. 5/5

Atmosphere

I sat on the patio, the tables are quite nice. It was a sunny day today. There is tons of seating both inside and outside. It's is very beautifully decorated. 5/5

Such a lovely place! The portions are huge and the food is delicious. The staff was very friendly, especially Virginia and Nat, who took great care of us the entire time. I’d definitely go back a great spot to hang out with friends ☺️

If youre going to spend $20+ on a salad there are worse places to go! The decor is super cute, and its nice that the chain is a canadian business started in Montreal. The portions were generous and the ingredients fresh. I think the bowls might be a better value, but I would still say this place is great for a light healthy meal!

Visited this location for the first time on the weekend and had a great experience. Virginia was very attentive and helpful. Tried the Sunset Surf Bowl which she recommended and tasted delicious. Definitely will be coming back 🙌🏽✨ plus store is really cute and has front patio sitting.

Me & My wife went from a distant city to downtown toronto early morning at 0800 Hours just to eat at this particular Mandy’s. 1st of all the food that we ordered from their menu option 1 & option 2 were Not available citing that we are short on supplies. Then a waitress spilled coffee on my white trousers, they were ruined. When i came from the washroom after attempting to clean them, we called the manager to discuss this scenario with him, the first thing he said was “IF YOU WANT WE CAN REFUND YOUR BILL?” … the manager was not apologetic at all, he was just just brushing it under the carpet, he did not say he will speak to the waitress, may be provide corrective training, The staff should be more careful…nothing of that sort. I did not accept the refund at all. You are a respected food chain, learn to better serve your customers.
