Went here today, and they were completely closed, store dark and empty, with a sign on the door that said to go shop the location at Traverse Mountain.

Came to exchange a shirt for a bigger size. I used a rewards that day. The shirt was even cheaper today… but somehow they wanted me to pay extra to exchange the shirt. When instead they should’ve gave me the money I payed extra or just simple exchanged the size. Some people just don’t know how to do math and need to work in other places. How am I going to have to pay to exchange something that’s cheaper now, they also said I would’ve had to loose the reward…. Had to keep the shirt instead.

My coat had a major manufacturing defect, but it was outside of the new 1 year period. Corporate told me they would replace it for free even outside of the warranty and said to talk to the store I bought it from. Lexi (the store manager) at fashion place refused to honor what corporate said and would not replace it, so now I have to mail it in and wait three weeks for a coat in the freezing winter months... Horrible customer service. I previously bought a lot here, but never again. Thanks Lexi, for letting me know that you no longer support or care about your longtime customers.

Eddie Bauer has some great gear. They are good at standing behind their products. Customer service in the store is friendly and helpful. Their first ascent technical gear is really nice but kind of expensive. They have some amazing sales when things go 50% off.

I L-O-V-E love Eddie Bauer. Love the clothes I get there. I shop their close-outs and find great stuff at great prices. They often have sales. Their plain white wrinkle free dress shirts are THE BEST. Wonderful staff. Go in and order something in the store that they don't have in stock and they ship it for free. Some of their prices seem out of control, but the sale prices make them manageable.
During the pandemic they are being extra careful, which I appreciate very much. Lately some stores are lowering their guard on protecting their customers, but Eddie Bauer is doing a great job at maintaining great care.
