It seems impossible to write a review for corporate Eddie Bauer, so I'll do it here until I can find a way to review the online company. BEWARE! they show no charge shipping In their shopping cart, but charge shipping on their orders. I contacted them to see if they would like to honor the wording in their online store. I was told to try again & that if it happened again that I should contact them, provide my order # and that they would adjust it out. So, that's what I did, it still charged shipping, I, while still on the chat, told them the order # and they told me they couldn't help me. I was just in a state of disbelief! I have all of this in writing from the chat! They refused to do as they promised, refused to provide a cancellation, or refund! I now fully understand why they are in bankruptcy! WARNING, STAY AWAY!..

We stopped here on a recent trip and my son bought a fly fishing rod. The manager was so kind and helpful and even made him a deal. He was beyond thrilled to take his new toy home on the plane.

Amazing customer service at North Conway outlet store!! Retail staff went above and beyond to help me replace a favorite EB raincoat that had been in our stolen car!! I was so excited to even find same coat and they located right size at another store and shipped for free to me as 2 hours away! Thank you to all of you at the outlet and to Eddie Bauer for making quality products! With Much Gratitude ❤️

Purchased Eddie Bauer folding hiking poles. After light use (about 3 hikes), cable connecting the hiking pole section snapped. I called Eddie Bauer customer services seeking a remedy...a repair or a refund. Because it was past 60 days since the purchase, the customer service agent said there was nothing I could do other than to go to the store where I made the purchase. I'd already explained I purchased the hiking poles while on holiday in New Hampshire, which I said was 7 hours from where I live.
There are other outdoor outfitters who stand by their products. Eddie Bauer products should be avoided

I was very impressed that Eddie Bauer, yes, there was a real Eddie Bauer, started his company way back in 1920 in Seattle. That, in itself is a true success story. He even patented the first quilted jacket in 1940. The outlet is loaded with all great stuff and the prices are right too. Wifey bought two articles. If you open up a new account, you can save an additional 10%. They have a nice upbeat crew.
