I should of stopped eating when I watched the owner of the resturant take left over food from a customer back to the kitchen to be sold again!
There are plenty of CLEAN bars and resturants around the corner on parliment street no need to go to this place to make yourself sick.
When you walk in the door of this place all you can smell is puke!
Had the rib dinner, next day had nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramping, and diarrhea.
P.S. If you do go to brass taps bring some change because some of the people in the resturant will as you for some!

The owner (she) took chicken wings back to the kitchen and said these are fine they can be reheated, all of the other food when in the garbage that I seen.

i am sorry you had a bad experience(half of our office just recently got food poisoning so my heart cries with you)... i can't stop wondering though why didn't you turn around the minute you walked in if you noticed the whole place smelled like puke?

LUTZ We have eaten many times at the other brass taps in the city (great good food and interesting people) and thought this one was going to be the same as the others, kind of like going to mcdonalds, you are pretty sure you know what you are going to get. There were people playing pool when we first walked in, I first thought the smell was coming from them, but I was wrong, after we got our drinks I went to the ladies room which you have to walk by the front to get to and the smell was really bad! When I came back from the ladies room we moved to the back of the resturant where the kitchen is and an open door with air coming in. Maybe the booze is really good there LOL
