If you have ever heard that film school does not teach you practical skills, RRFC shatters those preconceptions. This is a school that is hands on from the beginning to the end. The Mentor and Facilitator are a phone call away from helping guide you through the process. I recommend taking advantage of their on-site internships if you are able, but if you cannot afford it then you can learn from home as well.

As a former student, believe me when I say recording connection is worth looking into. I was able to get comfortable in a studio environment with a mentor and online advisor who were understanding to my busy life. Also a big plus, I was able earn my certification in the mist of exploring the rich music history that Memphis has to offer. On the other hand, if I could change one thing about the course it would be to figure out a way to ensure all lesson and skills are practiced hands on, in depth, in class with hands on help from mentor CONSTISTANLY for every single lesson. All in all, Recording Connection a positive experience for me and I'm almost sure this is the future of learning.

I have tried to self-instruct, I have tried other "Audio Engineering Institutions" and I really enjoyed my time at Recording Connection the most. This program gets you in the studio and has a well organized curriculum with key focus points on real, industry tasks and methods. My Advisor Marina Antekelian helped ensure I understood the lectures and has been genuinely interested in my development. Thanks to everyone at Recording Connection!

Film Connection has truly been a remarkable experience! I never thought I'd get the chance to learn how to make films and TV shows from such great people working in the film industries. Aimee Schoof as my film producing mentor has been great because of how encouraging and creative she is when it comes to building a project from the ground up. Philip Halprin as my screenwriting mentor has been a blast with all the amazing techniques he's taught me to improve my storytelling, world building, and character development. Elliot Campos as my Film Connection Student Services Advisor has been great with all the support and help he's provided through all the curriculums. I highly recommend Film Connection for anyone that want's to work in the film or television industries because of all the experience and connections you can gain from this program.

It's been a journey since I enrolled in Recording Connection. At the age of 19 it can be tough to get the funds and stability to invest in a dream and an opportunity. I can't say enough about my mentor who has worked with me and allowed me to experience what it is to be a true audio engineer and music producer. There has never been a dull moment and I look forward to every session and lesson. I can honestly say I am turning my dreams into reality.
