Tried Shootz today and ordered the Spicy Chicken Sando and the ube beignets.

First off, the experience itself was really pleasant. The restaurant was clean, pickup was easy, and the staff was very friendly. I walked in, saw the pickup bags already lined up at the counter, gave them my name, and was greeted warmly with a smile. They handed me my food quickly and told me to enjoy. Overall, it was a very smooth and welcoming experience.

Now for the food. The chicken sando was honestly delicious. Super flavorful, juicy, and just a really well-balanced sandwich overall. The kimchi butter sauce added a lot of flavor without overpowering it. I will say mine was not very hot temperature-wise, and the chicken was not as crispy as I expected, possibly because of the sauce. The bun also seemed more like a fresh Hawaiian roll straight from the pack rather than toasted or warmed. Even with that, the sandwich itself was still really good.

Also, for anyone wondering, the “spicy” level was extremely mild to me. Flavorful, yes. Spicy, not really. I didn’t even need a drink with it. Still, I would absolutely recommend the sandwich and order it again.

The ube beignets were a little disappointing for me. The outside was crispy, the inside was fluffy, and the powdered sugar was nice. But the ube filling was very mild to the point where I could barely taste the ube flavor at all. The texture of the filling also was not my favorite. They were not bad, but I personally would not order them again.

Overall, the sandwich alone made me want to come back. I definitely plan on trying more items from their menu.

Our first and may be our last. The food quality overall was a 4 out of 10. We order combo #3 and 4 and ask for number 4 not to be spicy but unfortunately it came spicy. 😑 Service was okay...one of the worker gave us someone else drink. Atmosphere was okay. The tables were dirty. We ask them to wipe it down and the worker did and left a portion of the table not wiped. Also the shrimp was a bit burnt.

The service was amazing, the general manager (Chris) was so helpful and nice. Gave us plenty of time to pick our order plus gave us samples! The food came out in lile 5 minutes. The music was good and the area isn't too loud!

My shrimp was very tasty. I wish I was served hot out of the grease. It was lukewarm, but still very tasty. As soon as we ordered our food, it was ready within 3 to 4 minutes. Their Macaroni salad. I didn’t care for too much, but my friend enjoyed it. The Spam roll tasted good as well. I asked for their spicy sauce. My plate didn’t come as spicy as I’d like so I paid three dollars for an extra container on the side.
