Our experience with Don's was very disappointing. We spent close to $4,000.00 on roller shades for 4 windows and this was our experience:
4/15/24 - A representative from Don's came out to install all roller shades. Initially, it appeared everything was ok.
4/21/24 - For the roller shade on our sliding glass door, we noticed that, as the shade came down, it hesitated off and on.
4/22/24 - Called Don's to follow up. They scheduled a time to have someone come out, but made a joke that it was supposed to do that...no apology. Appointment made for 4/24/24.
4/24/24 - Same technician came out and stated that the shade was catching on the valance as it came down and that the returns on the sides of the valance needed to be longer. I had to lean the valance against the wall while I waited for Don's to order new returns...not sure why this wasn't done properly to begin with. The next appointment scheduled for 5/14/24.
5/14/24 - A different technician came out. He had the exact same returns as those that were installed the first time. The returns had to be ordered again. Throughout this process, I emailed Mike the owner as well as the other employees letting them know I wasn't happy. Up to this point, I never received any apology. I also asked for a discount for my trouble. This was never mentioned. I finally received a phone call from the owner who said that the problem would be resolved the next time they came out and he apologized. No discount was offered.
6/3/24 - Problem was finally resolved. They also failed to remove the stickers on the shades which they did on this visit.
