We have been riding at the ranch for three years. The folk who run it are friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They provide both guided and unguided trail riding. To my knowledge, they are the only ranch in the area who provide unguided riding, though you need to show competence and pay an annual membership (see their website for rates). Definitely recommended!

When I called to inquire about unguided trail riding I was told we could run the horses a bit. Well that is not the case. Not only are the horses trained to trot slowly,there are Guides everywhere on the trail not allowing you to do much of anything.
It was a huge letdown, there was no value for the money and they don't tell you over the phone you must be a member in order to ride unguided......which means an additional $50.00 on top of the horseback riding fee.
Safe your money, try a different place!
