Fantastic food! Hummus is some of the best I’ve ever had. Love to get the combo plates and try all the delicious options. What a fantastic restaurant to have in midtown, consistent and great quality, for years and years and counting!

Food tastes amazing, but I was disgusted when I saw a worker touching dirty rag, and he grabbed cooked meat with bare hands and put it in to go container for someone's order. It's disgusting he didn't use gloves or bother to wash hands bc they were busy. If this happened infront of customers what happens behind in the back. Also the cooks l in the kitchen which is next to customers waiting were speaking obscenely, while I was with my young children. Very vulgar and also they seemed to be arguing among themselves in Spanish , Me and my children felt very uncomfortable. Horrible place to come and eat with family. Hope they get inspected I saw few things out of code here. It’s unfortunate bc the food was so good before.

The food was delicious,freshly grilled. I got the beef kebabs,delicious steak and the mixed plate. It's in a market with Mediterranean specialty items and fresh produce, so not much atmosphere. There is a bar area attached where you eat, but I took mine to go.

This market offers authentic Mediterranean cuisine, and the food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the chicken kebab plate, which came with flavorful rice, fresh green salad, creamy hummus, and pita bread. We also tried the tabbouleh, Greek salad, and an extra chicken kebab. Everything was delicious.
The place is clean and well-kept. While the service wasn’t overly friendly, it was efficient and professional, which makes sense since it’s more of a market than a sit-down restaurant. That’s the only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five.
We ordered our food to go while visiting Ventura (staying in a hotel nearby), and we’ll definitely be back to Green Olive Ventura next time. 👍👍

Ok! Found this little "local" gem!! I kind of think the locals won't really want me to spill the beans but the food here is DELICIOUS !!! It's a little hard to find because it's actually in the back end of this market! There's a decent bar section in the back where you can get beer and a glass of wine... if you're in the area, check this gem out and enjoy the middle-eastern food here!!
