I was shopping for a wedding ring and ban and stopped by Thomson to have a look as they are located right across my work! I was met by Don who immediately took my demands very seriously. After spending about an hour looking at rings and diamonds, Don suggested a pair that looked perfect! I purchased both the ring and the band at a pretty good price! 2 days later Don called me back to informed me that the re size was completed and to pick them up! I was extremely happy with the service and the quality of work done to the rings. Thank you Don and team and will let you know in March how she liked it!

I have never dealt with this outfit before. But after a ref. from a friend i can tell you this jewellery store has not only cleaned and done minor repairs at NO charge...they have been nothing but helpful and friendly to me.
As a result i returned for wedding bands and an engagement ring.By far exceded my expectations and could not be happier.
i will definetly return and recomend this jeweler to my friends and family.

I brought a ring in to be sized. As they were initially unable to determine whether gemstone was real and this would affect how the ring was sized (whether heat could be applied or not) and would also affect costs, they indicated that a gemologist would look at ring and let me know costs before sizing the ring. As I did not hear back from them the next day, I went back in to discover that they broke the ring (which they blamed on a pre-existing fault in the gold) and refused to fix it without charge. I left with a ring that can no longer be worn as band is broken. I should mention although they indicate there was a fault in the gold, the band was fine when I brought it in and the ring had been worn for years without any issue.

I am not impressed with the cold service I received at this store. I am assuming that because I was bringing in repairs and not purchasing expensive jewellery, I was given less than courteous service. When asked for a small box for one of my repairs, I was told I would need to pay an additional $4. This is not a place I would recommend.

I brought in an ear ring to be fixed. The ear ring melted during the repair process. I was told the ear ring was not worth fixing anyhow.

I didn't like the way I was treated. I was told my ear rings were cheap to begin with and that I should buy new ones.

I was received with a cold, unfriendly and defensive tone, which made me think that the jeweler was in the wrong and trying to get away with it.

Now the ear ring is ruined and if I want to get it fixed I have to pay for the extra silver to fill the melted part, which I am told, is quite expensive.

I was looking for a very special watch for my 25th anniversary at work. The store didnt have the one I selected in stock, but ordered it for me and even arranged for it to be engraved.
