I also love science and there is great beauty in understanding how the human body works. Being able to translate this love of science into a career that can help others is incredibly fulfilling. My philosophy of care is that the partnership formed between a patient and his or her doctor is the fulcrum upon which everything in medicine revolves around. I believe that the highest quality care comes with engaging patients to become active partners in managing their disease. My areas of special interest include endocrinology and diabetes management. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. In particular, I enjoy exploring all of the hiking and biking trails in North Carolina. Read more
