If you enjoy more batter than fish on your fish and chips this is your place. The fries were nice. Patio views at a table are none existent as you look at the railing. The high top tables have nice views if you can get into the very tall chairs. Overall a disappointing experience.

Really loved the vibe of this place! We originally came for their fish & chips and of course, the iceberg beer, but honestly, the chowder completely stole the show for me.
The fish was super fresh, crispy and definitely worth trying. The fries, however, weren’t my favourite, and it seems like I’m definitely not the only one who felt that way (common experience here). I’d HIGHLY recommend the fish cakes and chowder though and definitely grab a flight so you can try a few of their beers. Their beers were genuinely so good!
It can get really busy, so definitely be prepared for a bit of a wait, but the service and overall vibe made it worth it. Such a wholesome place to sit, eat and unwind, especially after a hike.
Definitely one of those spots I would recommend visiting while you’re in the area. Come hungry, get the chowder, and get the flight!!

We had an amazing time visiting Quidi Vidi Brewery! The food was delicious and and drinks were plentiful! I can't remember our server's name but he was a rockstar, and the associate that assisted us in the gift shop, Aaron, was very helpful and made sure anything breakable we purchased was wrapped safely! We lucked up and got a seat outside and the view was incredible! Highly recommend this place when visiting the St. John's area! Definitely get fries with dressing and gravy! I didn't think anything could be better than traditional poutine, and this place showed me I was wrong 😅 Sooooo good!

What a lovely place this is! It is tucked away in this small residential town where in it is rolling and winding streets up this coastal mountain. I recommend you grab an UBER going here because there is not a whole to of parking, especially on weekends and holidays.
As we arrive, there was about 5 minutes of wait time since it was quite busy that day We were sat in the patio where we can see the inlet. The rock face was an amazing site and the small fishing village was really cute.
I got a flight of beers(Iceberg LAger, 1892 Traditional Ale,MArgarita Cerveza and Dayoil Session IPA.) everything was perfectly balanced with maltiness and bitterness. Nothing overly powerful. I had to get me another pint of Iceberg to go with our MEal.
We got the sampler platter(steamed mussels, fries, cod tongues, shrimp skewers) Fish and Chips, and a honey dill chicken sandwich
Everything was delicious and flavourful. The fish n chips were perfectly done and the Cod Tongues were interestingly tasty. THe mussels were simply steamed and you can taste the sea, it was so good. My son loved his honey DIll Chicken Sandwich.
IT was a lovely place to hang out and have dinner. It was busy and yet the servers were able to manage all the guests. Definitely recommend to visit this place and maybe bring home a few brews after.

Great brewery with tasty food and excellent selection of beverages!
We visited this establishment following a recommendation from another restaurant and had a great time. Arriving soon after the opening time meant we had a great view of the harbour seated within the patio area. We were served quickly and provided with some useful advice on what the various beers were on offer.
The food was great, with special recommendations for the seafood chowder and beers delicious.
Lovely place to have some food in the sun whilst enjoying a beautiful view.
