I’ve heard about Nando’s for many years but never had the chance to try until today. I had the 1/4 leg chicken with spiced rice, chose the ‘hot’ spice level and expected it to be mild, but it actually was hot! (I am from a country that eats really hot and spicy food so have learned to be skeptical when my beloved Canadian friends say something is ‘hot’, but this was a pleasant surprise.) The service was also great, the space was clean and nicely decorated, and I had a good time. Wouldn’t mind doing this again. I am generally quite averse to fast food (you will never catch me at a McD…, We…, Pop…, BK, etc) because (and I mean this as lovingly as possible, not trying to disparage anyone) I genuinely don’t enjoy the taste of that kind of food, but as far as fast food/QSR goes this is pretty decent! (Feel free to correct me if Nando’s isn’t typically classified as ‘fast food’.)

Had a great experience at Nando’s. Ordered the full chicken with a side of peri fries and a side of mashed potatoes. Everything was delicious and cooked well.

Overall, it was a satisfying experience with great flavors. Nando’s continues to be a reliable choice whenever you’re craving a good chicken meal.

Definitely recommend and will be back again.

The Chickle review : Came here as they were offering a promotion for signing up on the app. First time trying Nando’s and might be the last. The product itself looks nothing like what’s advertised. The chicken was literally half the bun and dry. They could have at least flattened out the chicken to match the bun size. You are literally eating half a sandwich with no meat 😂. The crazy part is this thing is $15.99 normal price. It’s definitely not worth that price. The flavours were ok but nothing stood out about this sandwich that made me want more.

I might come back to try the actual whole chicken they are known for but with the lack lusted presentation and taste of the sandwich, it’s a big maybe.

The Coleslaw I ordered was a 3/5. Creamy, crunchy, had some decent flavour but didn’t stand out for me either.

You really need to fix that chicken to bun ratio Nando’s because it’s N to the O NO for me on coming back if regular price for that is 15.99 😕.

Ordered a chicken bowl and an extra thigh piece yesterday. Heard the cashier double check with the cook Sandeep that the thigh was in there, but we got home and there was no extra thigh.

Called to complain and she said to come back and pick it up, but we live 20 min away and couldn’t make the 40 minute drive AGAIN just for one chicken thigh because of THEIR mistake. She spoke to the manager and said if we come back tomorrow she will give us fries as well. She gave us a complaint number.

But here is the main issue…

She said when we come tomorrow we should ask for the manager whose name is Sarah. I asked for her name as well and she would not provide it, and just kept saying the managers name is Sarah. I asked her 3 times before she said her own name was Khatijah. Went back today to get my thigh and fries, and the cashier told us that no one named Sarah works there, but Khatijah does. So clearly these employees are lying on purpose.

On top of that the extra chicken thigh she gave me (that I paid over $8 for) is smaller than the palm of my hand. This felt deliberate and petty. The food is good but not good enough to have to deal with that customer service.

I visited Nando’s today with my friends and had an outstanding experience. We ordered their platter, and every element was top notch. The Garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and perfectly seasoned, and the garlic bread was soft and incredibly tasty. Their peri peri sauce was a standout absolutely delicious .The chicken was perfectly cooked, tender, and juicy. What made the experience even more unique was the cozy atmosphere with decorations made from cans : a creative and charming touch! The service was excellent, with attentive and friendly staff. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great spot for a group dinner. Overall, I highly recommend for anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The quality of the food, excellent service, and unique décor make it a must-try. I'll definitely be back for more.
