He spent six years in the United States Air Force and completed residency at the San Antonio Military Medical Center in Texas. After residency, he was an internist and hospitalist in Virginia where he was appointed assistant professor and adjunct faculty at various institutions. He is currently a Major in the Air National Guard. He has a special interest in preventive medicine, weight management issues, exercise and nutrition. He enjoys getting to know his patients and individualizing the most up-to-date guidelines for acute and chronic disease.
