In 2001, she completed her internship at the college, and in 2004, she completed a Neurology residency at Atlanta's Emory University. In 2005, she completed a Neurophysiology fellowship that focused in Electromyography. Dr. Thomas says she chose to be a neurologist because she had excellent mentors and her mom's history of intractable migraines. Dr. Thomas is a member of the American Association of Neurology. Dr. Thomas enjoys spending time with her daughter and two sons. She enjoys reading, going to the movies and trying new Tex-Mex restaurants.
