I also have expertise in complex and minimally invasive surgery, arthritis and sports-related injuries. A native of Slovakia, I attended Comenius University where I obtained my medical and PhD degrees. I then moved to Boston for a postdoctoral research fellowship in biomechanics at Harvard Medical School where I also completed my residency in Orthopaedic Surgery. I served as a Chief Resident in Orthopaedic Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and also was the assistant team physician for the New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins.
