I'll never forget the first time I tried Primrose. A pop-up behind a local café, August 2019. It's been a delicious journey ever since.

Primrose is the spokes of the community - the place you go to break bagels and never meet a stranger. Where lox, seasonal cream cheese, and tradition join forces. The spread your family already loves to pick up every Sunday, for everyone who hasn't tried it yet, and their dogs. Doing Hashem's work, one bagel at a time.

This is a 5/5 Toronto spot for me. I recommend it any time I can, best bagels in the city hands down! I’ve never ordered something from here and been disappointed.

The staff here also always keep it real with you 😂 they make great recs and seem like they genuinely enjoy working there. Love Primrose 💛

I went to Primrose to try their famous bagel sandwiches since I saw a lot of instagram reels and read great reviews. I wanted to try the vegetarian one and I ordered that i loved it. Its worth the hype and super tasty. It was my first time there and when I took a take away and the guy who packed the bagel sandwich for me also added in some extra bagels for me to taste since it was my first trying and it was the kindest gesture I had ever seen and I thanked him. The bagel sandwich was yummy and definitely would recommend others specially if you are looking for vegetarian options as they do have a couple of them. The place is pretty clean too!

First time visiting Primrose Bagels and I was so excited to try it! There was about a 20 minute wait, but honestly the service totally made up for it. The gentleman behind the counter was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely kind. He let us try a few bagels while we waited and was super helpful answering questions and sharing info!! The place smells amazing and the overall vibe was great. Highly recommend checking it out!! 10/10

Heard a lot about this place and it did not disappoint. Service is super friendly and talkative which is nice :). Ended up getting the lox n sas and it was pretty amazing, hard on the outside but so chewy on the inside. And the ingredients tasted super fresh, a refreshing bagel is just what I like. It does get messy though, but still so nice. More salmon could be good but should just get the normal lox for that, this was more of a salad one. 8.7/10 on the bagel meter.

Primrose itself is a Toronto bagel staple though so I would say it is a must visit, a bit crowded but very old school.

I trudged through the snow to come here and it was so worth it! I ordered a plain bagel with lox and butter, and they absolutely did not skimp on the lox (you can tell from the photo). The bagel was soft on the inside and had a thin crunchy shell which is just the way I like it! Also the vibes were great and really comfy - I had such a nice time just eating and sitting by the window.

I absolutely loved my experience at primrose bagels. The lox and sas was my favourite and incredibly delicious - loved the softness of the salmon paired with the mustard and cream cheese.

The ambience was very warm and inviting. The staff were also very kind and the service was exceptional. Would definitely recommend checking this place out.

Best Bagels in Toronto Period!

The Lox and cream cheese bagel was outstanding.
This was for sure the best; smoked salmon I’ve ever had, so fresh and delicious.
The breakfast sandwich was also outstanding the bacon was noticeably good.

The atmosphere felt very warm and community oriented.

We will definitely be back.

Kenneth, the two ladies at the front and Dave was super friendly.

By far the best bagel spot in town! 🥯 The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The staff is welcoming, and my order was prepared quickly. Additionally, they offer side salads and interesting spices and sauces for purchase.

Definitely the best bagel iv ever had! The menu is fairly accessible in terms of price and the quality of the food speaks volumes. I will say you should be prepared to wait at this place. It seemed like even the folks that ordered ahead had to wait a bit. I’m not entirely sure if it was worth a half hour wait but we also went on a Saturday morning when the weather was beautiful so that may have played into it. And when you’re making something so good and have welcoming staff AND a cute spot then the wait is obviously related to everything you’re doing right.
