As locals we dine at the deli 4-5 times per year. The food is so good & portions are generous, BUT the kitchen is SO slow. On our most recent visit, I ordered a sandwich and my husband ordered a burger. My sandwich must have sat too long as it was soggy and warm on the bottom and stale and room temp on the top. The pastrami was also more fatty than usual and barely warm. My husband’s burger was good, but the sweet potato fries were limp and cool. Unfortunately, we’ve had similar experiences for over a year. Wait staff kind of stands around waiting for the kitchen. Fewer items come out hot/fresh. I don’t know if the menu is too big or serving the bar and to go pizzas slows everything, but they need to figure it out. (We were in on a Thursday at 5 / not busy) Ax far as the atmosphere - it’s an open restaurant on the casino floor. You should know what you’re in for.

Its an okay place. Its supposed to be a deli type place but bothe the sandwiches me and my son got were probably subway quality or less. Bread was not fresh and was crumbly which was annoying for a big sandwich. Meat was bland and not flavorful. Dressing was non existent on the sandwich. My son who likes practically no spread even said it was too little for him, so ask for extra sauce. The portion sizes were large though.

Service was okay. It wasn't busy and the sever was always standing 90 degrees to the table looking off into the distance for some odd reason. Came by to ask for a drink refil in the first 30 seconds and the last 30 seconds of the meal which was annoying for such dry and bland food.

Where this place really shines is the chese cake. Do yourself a favor and buy a small meal or share a regular one and get yourselves the cheesecake. It makes it worth it.

I loved the menu and everything was good, but it would not survive in NYC. I had the pastrami sandwich, pastrami was okay but smaller pieces and not the full flavor I was expecting. I enjoyed the potato latkes and it was nice that it came with both apple sauce and sour cream. Also no complaints about the matzoh ball soup.

I’ve been coming to the Manhattan deli for over twelve years. It’s always been a highlight of our annual ski trip. Their corned beef sandwich on grilled sourdough is my favorite until a recent visit last week. As you can see in the photos the sandwiches used to be stuffed with tender fresh corned beef. My recent sandwich was barely filled and the corned beef tasted dry and felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The bread was partially grilled and partially burnt. French fries were good but the sandwich was very disappointing. Please bring back your incredible corned beef sandwich like it used to be.

Wonderful place for a meal!

This blow us as we did not expect that we can have really good food in a casino eatery.

We ordered a few dishes and None of them is a miss.
The waffle fries of sweet potatoes are a hit: so crunchy and perfectly fried.
The chicken noodle soup are flavorful.
The apple pie is good.
The power mix salad is so rich with different ingredients.
The double decker with beef tongue and corned beef are super good — less salty than the NYC local ones but really crate to my palate.

The only issue is the waiting time for food is a bit of long. But the waitress is kind and polite. Pretty nice.

Definitely will come back again! Why stand in the line for hours for the buffet ?
