My experience, along with that of several others who attended long before me, has been overwhelmingly negative. The quality of the teaching, the manner in which students are being treated, the conduct of certain staff members, as well as the unfair middle school system, have made attending this school an extremely unpleasant experience. One of my biggest concerns is the behavior of a former home room teacher. I have witnessed behavior from him that I consider completely inappropriate for an educator. This includes fat shaming students, mocking disabilties, making derogatory remarks regarding race and beliefs, including labeling students as "brainwashed" for disagreeing with him, as well as telling absolutely inappropriate stories unrelated to the subject he was being paid to teach. Beyond this, I have witnessed his aggressive behavior toward students, and even encountered this personally. He has yelled directly at his students, making statements that undermine their sense of autonomy and leave them with fear of speaking up. Students should NEVER have to be afraid of a teacher. Period.
Another teacher I had an issue with was the PE teacher who left after last year. Throughout the lessons, he repeatedly singled me out and teased me for my hair and overall quiet demeanor. I was 12. Rather than making me comfortable participating in class, he made me feel targeted. I dreaded each and every PE class because I was scared of what remarks he had for me that day. One particularly upsetting incident involved my purse, holding all of my personal belongings. He hid it in the gym closet when I had left it on the bleachers so I could play volleyball with my friends, and I had no idea where it was. When that period ended and everyone was being dismissed, I realized it was missing and began to panic. I asked around if anyone had seen it, and there was no answer. When I eventually asked him, he gave me a questionable look before admitting to taking it to hide it in the gym closet, and he took me back to finally return it. I asked him why he hid it in the first place, as any sane person would wonder, and he responded with, "Because I'm immature and stupid." I'm not even joking. That is word-for-word what he said to me. I left that class confused and weirded out because this man was well into his 50s/60s. Again, I was 12. Unfortunately, my concerns aren't just limited to a couple of teachers. I have serious concerns about the school's administration and its treatment of the students whose parents literally pay tuition expecting a safe, respectful, and appropiate enviornment for their children. Other students have publicly described similar experiences involving unfair discipline, inconsistent dress code enforcement, and staff members behaving inappropriately toward children. Reading those accounts, some dating back to nearly a decade ago, has made me even more concerned about the school's overall environment and the potentially lasting effects they have on their students. The administration's responses to these accounts are particularly frustrating. You'll probably come across multiple reviews describing students' negative experiences at Redeemer, followed by generic bullcrap along the lines of, "We care deeply for the well-being of all our students." – and yet these responses do little to reassure that the underlying concerns are being genuinely addressed. Expressing concern for your students' well-being means NOTHING if that concern isn't being reflected in the way students are actually treated. A school should be willing to take criticism SERIOUSLY, not just by saying that they do so to uphold their Perfect Christian Reputation, but by taking action to prevent these instances from reoccurring as suggested by reviews spanning nearly half a decade ago...so clearly nobody's doing anything about it. What needs to happen is a demonstration of improvement through ACTION, not just empty rhetoric and a refusal to accept accountability. Please more carefully choose who you hire and fix your system.

We have thoroughly enjoyed the community, family, and education for our daughter. She has loved kindergarten and first grade at this school. The education is wonderful. They start with Spanish and chess in Kindergarten. The sports teams is also a wonderful opportunity for elementary kids. Can't recommend it enough!

Our family is incredibly grateful for the years our child spent at this Christian school from elementary through middle school. The faith-based education, caring teachers, and strong sense of community made such a lasting impact on our family. We especially loved the meaningful field trips and hands-on learning experiences that brought learning to life. Most importantly, the school did an outstanding job preparing our child academically and personally for high school, honors-level courses, college, and beyond. Seeing our child now not only a college graduate, but also earning a master’s degree, is a true testament to the strong academic and spiritual foundation this school helped build. We highly recommend this school to any family looking for academic excellence rooted in Christian values.

Honestly I have so much to say about this school. When I attended redeemer the things I went through I wouldn't wish on anyone. The way this school treats literal children is awful. I watched a member of the staff body shame a 4th grade girl and nothing happened. The clear sexism against girls is disgusting while boys can have short shorts girls are expected to purchase new skirts through the year and told that class rooms can not run if girls are distracting the boys. The principal should not be in a position of power over student when she was made principal last year she quickly started making up new rules and telling us that she could make up rules whenever and student has to follow them. The pressure students are under to be perfect and not get strikes or be labeled a " bad " kid is not fair. I still struggle with extreme anxiety from the time I spent at RLS and many of my friends do to. I would strongly recommend other schools in the area over redeemer. I used my friends account to write this I was a redeemer student in the 24/25 school year with the new staff. I have uniforms jerseys and a year book to prove it

Our son has attended Redeemer since Kindergarten, and it has been an incredible experience not only for him but our entire family. The close-knit environment allows every student to be known, supported, and encouraged—not just academically, but spiritually and personally as well. The teachers and staff are truly exceptional as they always go above and beyond to help each child succeed, showing sincere care, patience, and dedication in everything they do.
With the smaller class sizes, it allows the teachers and staff to give more individualized attention, helping students grow at their own pace while building strong relationships with families. The Christ-centered values are woven into both the curriculum and daily life, creating an atmosphere of kindness, respect, and integrity.
We couldn’t be happier with the quality of education and the nurturing, faith-based community. This school is a blessing to our family, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outstanding Christian education with amazing teachers.
