WARNING. DO NOT USE. ISSUE STILL OPEN
Itzhak of Omega Doors and windows in Feb 2024 cashed two personal checks totalling $12,000.00. The job was to remove and install 13 impact windows and 4 mallions on my house in Monarch Lakes, Miramar, FL. He asked me to take the paperwork to the Miramar permit department (red flag). Several attempts, his paperwork could not pass Miramar impact window permit requirement (red flag). Issue was he was trying to install the windows without a permit (red flag). He kept saying he was ready to install. I kept refusing without a permit. I informed him numerous times I wanted a refund. He said he already paid for the windows and I cannot get a refund. I said I would pay restocking fee since windows have not been made yet. I called the window company he gave me and they had no order in my name. He got angry and called me bipolar and crazy to my face and in a text message. I told him I did not want him back at my house he can only meet me at the community gate to give me my refund because he scares me. I asked him for a proof copy of the paperwork for the ordered windows specific to my house. He never delivered 1. the city permit 2. the receipt of purchase of 13 window/4 mallions 3. the actual windows 4. my refund. Anyone reading this that would like to sue him and get your money back, don't go it alone. Public information city of Miramar,FL, I paid for this failed permit # was 2402121. Contact me and we will find others that he has scammed and we can all take him to court together to show the pattern of how the scam works. You work hard too!! To avoid him lying to potential clients that he took care of this issue, I WILL UPDATE THIS POST ONLY WHEN HE REFUNDS MY MONEY.

If you get a really cheap quote from this company and wonder if you should go with them, stay away. We had a disastrous experience, to put it lightly. First of all, getting a permit to install shutters took the entire hurricane season so that’s a moo point to start with, luckily we didn’t get hit by any major hurricanes last season. Secondly, staff was unprofessional. The people who did the work were subcontractors by the company, and they badmouthed us while doing the work thinking we didn’t understand Spanish. Lastly, the quality was inferior. We were so relieved when everything was finally over, even though the quality was so bad, at least we didn’t need to deal with this company anymore. We sincerely regretted not paying more for another service.
Maybe the reviews about garage door repairs are genuine, thats why we decided to go with them, but want to leave this review for other clients’ sake.
