Paid for extra espresso shots, multiple, and they didn't bother to put them in there. This is why asking for a tip before I get my drink is bullshit. Literally can't get it fixed because I'm working. So 10$ +tip coffee was a waste. Thank you Starbucks.

Your standard Starbucks, pretty quick to receive your order and nice bathrooms for customer use. Nice typical aesthetic and Wi-Fi.

I will start with the positives as it is something that outweighs any bad experiences I’ve had here. Moved to this boise spot from my usual meridian location, been going here for about two years now so I’ll drop my review.

I like to get out of the house early in the morning in order to get work done before, well, work. No other location nearby is open this early in the morning(and why it’s my go to). The crew is always friendly even so early in the morning and I appreciate that. The music choice is also very chill and unique compared to the other stores I’ve been to. The music changes throughout the day to match the vibes.

They have yet to mess up my order before, but I find that this location is busy (even in the very early AM) as it’s the only drive through Starbucks near the university on the south end. The inside is packed past certain hours and so is the drive through. When they’re busy I find the service is lessened(which is understandable).

Food has been sloppily placed in bags a few times(as in the bun is almost completely off and cheese sticks to the bag) but I’m not a super picky person so I just slide it back on(honestly, the only reason it’s docked points). I don’t order food often but there has been a decent amount of these instances.

Lots of college folks in here, as well as local neighbors. For early birds this is a great location, but when you’re here at the usual morning or afternoon rush times it gets a bit too busy compared to other Starbucks I’ve gone to. If I hit it at those times I must give it an extra 10 just in case of a huge line that goes to the street(at least it means it’s profitable and it’ll keep opening so early haha).

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Starbucks this morning around 6:30 AM. My friend and I had just ordered our coffees when we discovered a fly inside the pastry display case, contaminating the food as it moved from one pastry to another. When we brought this to the attention of the barista, our concerns were dismissed, and no action was taken to address the hygiene issue.

The lack of response and apparent disregard for food safety standards were not only unprofessional but also left us feeling unheard and unvalued as customers. Such negligence is unacceptable in a food service environment, where cleanliness should be a top priority. Due to this experience, my friend and I are compelled to take our business elsewhere and cannot recommend this location.
