I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews, but my friend and I visited a few weeks ago after brunch, and the experience was extremely disappointing. As we looked around and checked price tags, an older blonde employee passively aggressively asked if we knew they had a clearance section and pointed us toward it. As someone with plenty of customer service experience, I was shocked by how condescending the interaction felt. Other employees also seemed passive-aggressive toward us and other customers. We are both Hispanic and noticed other customers of color receiving similar stares. It honestly made us feel judged and unwelcome. It’s disappointing to experience such snobby behavior from employees, especially when customers are simply trying to shop. I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning.

Love this store but probably won’t shop here in person at this location again. The woman who checked us out forgot to take the security tag off my jeans, and one of the other woman associates at the front (you could tell she was probably a location manager, she had short hair) as we were walking out, said to the other associate “take the bag from them because I think the beeping is coming from their purse.” Even though the other associate said it was her mistake right away. I would have expected them to treat the situation more delicately, asking us nicely to go one by one through the beeping doors, to triple check what set it off. It wasn’t the situation, but merely the way she said, and with her authority, that she out loud expressed her “thought” claiming that we had stolen something, was put in a very accusatory fashion. I prefer to shop somewhere classier where caring customer service always gives the customer the benefit of the doubt.

I don’t live close to this location but it is always high on my priority list when visiting Western Oregon. I’ve found many beautiful and high quality pieces to add to my wardrobe that I love. Trisha helped me during my last visit and she was wonderful. She understood what I was looking for and had great recommendations. It’s always refreshing when you the salesperson assisting you is not pushy. She’s amazing!
