My 5 year old daughter really wanted to experience one of their events that we had heard about from one of her friends whom was attending, and we got rejected entry by tanya witt because we werent affiliated with one of their partner agencies. For an organization focused on supporting children, selectively enforcing the "private event" excuse unfortunately leaves other local families and children feeling unnecessarily excluded.

I hope that in the future, the entry guidelines can either be applied consistently across the board, or that there might be opportunities to open these events up more broadly so all children in the community can feel welcomed.

I support the message and the advocacy! However, I can’t stand the advertisements on the billboards. It’s obnoxious and an eyesore. Take down the ads.

Also: look into how much Chris Secher (executive director) makes - their income looks pretty on paper, but it goes to the higher ups, not the children.

When I was first introduced to you at Realities for Children three years ago when I first opened my business, I had no idea that you would make such an impact on my own life and not just the lives of the children you serve. I have had the honor to watch you put smiles on kids’ faces that would normally never have a reason to smile. From Backpacks to bikes to Scholarships, you guys never stop doing all you can for the kids in our community and your affiliate agencies. You guys are awesome and it is an honor to be able to witness your contribution to this community.

When it comes to being a business member and what Realities has done for me, I can’t say thank you enough. When we moved here on a leap of faith without knowing anyone in the community I was able to use Realities Business Members for almost all of my business needs. I knew that if I reached out to one of the businesses that was already a member, I would be giving my business to someone that supports and believes in the same organization that I do. Knowing that when I support other Realities for Children Business Members I am also again supporting the children in the community that you serve is a great thing. I have met some of the most amazing people through my Business Membership with Realities. I had no idea three years ago where I would be today or if this leap of faith would work out. I can honestly say that so far it has and I couldn’t have done it without the contacts that I have gained through Realities For Children. Thank you allowing us to be a part of something bigger than we ever imagined!
