We purchased a log cabin package from Western International Log Homes to build on our lake lot. We are so pleased with the finished product and how easy it was to build. The instructions were straight forward and the logs all seal with the insulation strip in between. We did not have any chinking to do at all and it is cozy as can be. We use it in the winter as well and we only have a wood burning stove to heat it which is more than enough.

The customer service department was very helpful, Steve, Becky and Matt dealt with us personally.

If you are looking for a quality log structure at an affordable price we would highly recommend this company.

Steve Attra, Becky Attra, and Matt Steele are the owners of this business. My VERY STRONG suggestion is that you get at least 5 references of past log home clients - and there is good reason for that. The pictures that were showed to me were clearly from different builders (not one company), and anyone I wanted to contact regarding Western International suddenly and conveniently had a family emergency, or was "fired" as a contractor, etc - never to be heard from again. I invested significant money into this with no product/business given in return, and was not given a refund despite the written guarantee. I was being pressured to invest more and thankfully I came to this awareness before taking further action. Talk to competitors in the area and see if they've even heard of them on Vancouver Island... hint hint

We were very happy with our experience. If you are looking for a log home that you will love for generations to come, talk to this company. The service and support we received was fantastic.

We heard about them from our friends in Canada who purchased a lake cabin.
