He went on to complete his internship at MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital/Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. He then completed fellowship training in pain medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.Dr. Willis decided to pursue a career in medicine after overcoming injuries from his own athletic career. Leaning on his personal experiences, Dr. Willis understands the importance of regaining overall function and maintaining wellness.
