That same year, she graduated from Frontier Nursing University, obtaining her master's in nursing midwifery. Additionally, she holds bachelor's and associate degrees in nursing from the University of Bridgeport (2018) and Gateway Community College (2016) respectively. Theresa left her 20+ year career in emergency medical services to work as a maternity nurse and pursue a nurse-midwifery education after being inspired by her own son’s birth with her talented, compassionate, and caring midwives. When not pursuing her educational goals or working at the hospital, Theresa loves to recharge in the peaceful outdoors and read or volunteer at church and the local community dining room. She is also experiencing the bittersweet joy of getting her son ready for his college adventures. She is looking forward to partnering with her clients through shared decision-making by honoring their thoughts and concerns.
