Yulene received her bachelor’s degree at Chang Gung University in the Guishan District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan. She later served as a pediatric occupational therapist at Whole Child Developmental Center in Taipei, Taiwan, and Kaohsiung Rehabilitation Clinic in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Yulene eventually relocated to the United States and became a pediatric occupational therapist at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She also obtained her master’s degree from Ohio State University in Columbus. Passionate about providing quality occupational, physical, and speech therapy to children with special needs, she founded Yulene Consulting PLLC. At the practice, Yulene offers evidence-based parent coaching services that help parents and caregivers better understand their child's behaviors through a polyvagal lens, understanding that behaviors and actions are automatic and adaptive. She takes a holistic approach to therapy and considers various factors, such as a child's sensory processing abilities, nervous system, reflexes, and environment, to understand the child's unique needs.
