Went to CPK at King of Prussia Mall and things started great. Hostess was incredibly welcoming and showed us to our table. Waitress came over a few minutes later, gave us our menus and asked if we wanted bread. Said yes and she returned with a portion the equivalent to a roll cut into 8 pieces. Four people at the table, but hey, it was a freebie!!! We ordered our food but we weren't told that there was an issue with the grill so seared-steak couldn't be made. I don't know why this couldn't have been told to us when getting the menu, but let's move on... Food arrived about 15 minutes later. Not inedible, just subpar.. My son and I both got a pizza and while we both ate it, agreed that a $5 Little Caesars pizza would've been better. The other two had salads but again, nothing stellar. Our waitress disappeared for the next 15-20 minutes so getting a refill was out of the question. During that time two other parties sat down. One got up and left because no one was coming. I was able to tell the other party was irate because they wanted steak items that couldn't be prepared and most likely weren't told when they got their menus. Eventually our waitress came back and got us a refill. It was another 10-15 minutes for her to return and get us our check. I really didn't want to leave a tip because we felt like we weren't wanted there and were basically forgotten. However, the waitress stuck a card reader in front of me and showed me where the total was and if I wanted to leave a tip. Way to put me on the spot!!!! We left and my wife and I both agree that we felt like we were unwanted guests. I'm not sure if our server was new or had other tasks, but the floor manager should know better. I have just never been to a restaurant where you've been forgotten about. At most there were only 5 tables being serviced when we were there so they definitely weren't busy. In the end we spent $120 for mediocre food and abysmal service. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.....

EDIT: Props to CPK for responding to a review I left on their main site. Within 3 hours they called and apologized for being treated as an afterthought at this location. They extended an offer to return and make my experience right...

We had an incredible dining experience at California Pizza Kitchen! Everything we ordered was remarkably fresh and absolutely delicious.
To start, I tried the Strawberry Mango Mocktail, and it was so refreshing and flavorful that I couldn't resist ordering a second one! The White Corn Guacamole was exceptionally fresh, vibrant, and delicious.
For the main course, I had the Classic Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken. The chicken was grilled to absolute perfection, and the freshly shaved Parmesan cheese on top tasted so authentic and high-quality.
We finished the meal with the Upside-Down Cheesecake, and it was the perfect finale. It wasn’t overly sweet, the fresh fruit on top was incredibly flavorful, and the crust was absolutely to die for!
The restaurant really knocked it out of the park with the freshness of their ingredients. I will definitely be back!

I came in tonight and notice a hige difference in the restaurant which now makes sense knowing Sammi is back and now the GM. For great service, see Grace and Donny.. They do a great job. Good people there and always make me feel special and never wait for a seat. Good with allergies!

Terrible late lunch today!
There was absolutely no one in the restaurant so there is no excuse as to why our food was less then subpar. The Szechwan Dumplings came out cold, I sent them back. The manager returned with them about 5 minutes later after throwing them in the microwave.
I knew they were microwaved because the sauce was burnt around the edges of the place, I asked the server if they were just thrown in the microwave and he sorta smirked. Then our dishes came out and there was hardly any sauce on my bolognes pasta. I had to ask for more sauce and it was so watery, it was disgusting.
Service was slow and again, the restaurant was empty...
Bottom line is.... with so many options just minutes from this establishment, don't waste your money. Go to a place that cares. The manager didn't care, the server was very transactional, no apology or even compensation. If the restaurant was busy I could possibly understand but the restaurant was empty. What that tells me is that the chef & the manager just didn't care and are lazy. So disappointing on my only day...$100 spent on terrible food.
