As a child, she watched her grandmother, a Filipino immigrant, struggle with the health care system and noticed that she was not guided properly which made her illness more difficult to manage. This convinced Dr. Marquez-Maneja that she would pursue a career as a physician and help fill this gap to provide an exceptional patient experience for all of her patients. An internist with over 15 years of experience, Dr. Marquez-Maneja chose internal medicine as her specialty to master the management of multiple medical diagnoses. She views her role as a medical advisor and guide for her patients and helps her patients reach their goals. As she says, “I enjoy celebrating major milestones with my patients and guiding them along the way.
