I visited the Bordignon Marble and Granite business at their newer location at 1311 Ketch Court, Coquitlam three days ago, parking in their customer lot. I had business to take care of at two other neighbouring businesses first and when I returned to Bordignon's I discovered that my truck had been blocked by a forklift which the staff subsequently admitted they had done on purpose. Upon entering the business, I noticed that several staff had been up at the window watching me. I was promptly berated for parking in the customer lot with the assumption that I was not a customer, without anyone asking first if I was there as a client. I pointed out that there is no signage anywhere on the property prohibiting customer parking, and I was told I should just know better. No one came to move the fork lift, and I was taken outside and left standing at my truck. I informed a staff member that I would be calling the police if they continued to keep me trapped in the parking lot (I am a person with physical disabilities so walking very far away without my vehicle was not an option). I was told to go ahead and call them. Then I was told afterwards someone would come and move the forklift, but I waited and waited. It wasn't until I did get on my cell phone to call the police that a man came out to move the fork lift, completely ignoring me. It was obvious the staff were having fun at the expense of a five foot, two disabled woman. So, the rest of my house renovations will be done by someone else.
