My husband and I are from out of state and decided to check this place out while we were in town. We loved riding with this stable! All of the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Our guide was great and really seemed to enjoy what he does! All of the horses were well taken care of and happy. The views were incredible. We had a great time riding here! We would choose this location every time we visit Colorado!

Did the 4 hour ride a couple weeks ago and had the best experience. Kayla Tubbs was the guide on my tour and did an incredible job guiding the group through the trails and telling us about the park and history. She made the ride very enjoyable and would definitely recommend to anyone interested to book a ride with Gateway Stables and even request Kayla as your tour guide. Seriously had such an amazing time.

I have been attempting to talk my husband into horse back riding for 25 years and he finally agreed! He has absolutely no experience with horses whereas I have been riding my whole childhood and into adulthood. I hadn’t ridden in about 10 years but still work with horses pretty regularly and I just wanted to experience Colorado Rocky Mountains this way.

Setup was easy, hands were nice and helpful/ knowledgeable. Our two hour early morning ride was perfect and a small group (5). Kayla, our instructor was a joy. She seemed genuinely excited to take us out and get to know us. Gave tons of interesting facts and fun stories as well as engaged the entire group, kids and all.

Our horses, Ghost and Morning Star were very well behaved, the views were incredible and as an experienced horse rider, I must say I was thrilled with the rough terrain spots, switchbacks, “stairs” and overall pace of the ride. Equally, my husband was surprised that he truly enjoyed it and felt there was no other experience like it.

Would 💯 do this again and go all day if I could but alas, we are only here for a few days. I am so glad we chose this as our first activity. It is still by far, my favorite! Thanks again to Kayla and Gateway for the memories!

To put it frankly, absolutely amazing. The view was amazing, the horses were also great, *Diesel is amazing* and the guide, Abigail was very informative and helpful. Overall an amazing experience. Would go again! Also could you email me photos of diesel from the side and front?

Spontaneous outing and loved it. Very entertaining and informative. Loved riding through the National Park and seeing views you would never see otherwise. Our group was small which was great. (4people) We took the 2 hour tour and it was perfect. Our guide was Kayla (I think) and liked her a lot. Super fun and would love to do it again.
Would totally recommend.
