I don't usually leave reviews but I have to do it this time. I would recommend Mathnasium to everyone. My son loves it. He says the instructors are very nice and patient. It's doesn't matter how many times he gets the answer wrong, the instructors never get upset or show a bad face. It's important to know that your child is getting the attention and care they need in learning and with Mathnasium I know he is. My son takes his homework in and they show and explain everything to him that the school teacher don't have time to do. Mathnasium keeps you updated every step of the way. They send progress reports after every session. Everyone with a child that needs extra attention in math should give Mathnasium a chance. I'm glad I did! Thank you Mathnasium!!!!!!

Mathnasium is the best! Elizabeth is your go to person- for any questions, comments or concerns- she's always ready to help and offer the best solution possible.

The environment is calm, a bit chaotic at times (in the best way possible because when the children understand something and get excited it shows just how proud of themselves they are for accomplishing their goal) and overall welcoming. The fact that Elizabeth greets everyone who walks through the door by name shows how much attention she pays to detail and truly getting to know the families who have chosen Mathnasium of Teaneck.

Nadia and Valeria are the absolute best! My child gets distracted easily and they both are able to redirect her focus back into the work she needs to complete during her session. They are extremely knowledgeable in all things math, and their explanations and reasoning really help my child understand what shes learning. (There are other instructors that we have not had the opportunity to work with- but from observing how they are with the children, they are all phenomenal!)

I also like that the children are able to collect stars and once they have a certain amount they can choose either a snack (chips) or a prize (squishies stuffies, water bottle, shirt, activity packet etc). Its a great incentive to keep the kids focused on earning a prize!

Overall, we are extremely happy and satisfied that we chose Mathnasium of Teaneck as our tutoring provider!

My son showed up in 7th grade, struggling to complete math at his level. Mathnasium assesed him and found skill gaps that probably started around 3rd grade. They devised a curriculum to get him solid on his foundations, then introduced new concepts that he had difficulty with. The process took about 10 months, but eventually he was performing at grade level with ease. He's now in 10th grade in accelerated math, and it's all due to the confidence and skills he gained through Mathnasium. Matt and the team do great work that's well worth the cost!
