Just want to firstly say that this IS a school, so you should not expect perfect coming here, but wanted to share my experience.

November 2023 I came in for a shadow box dye in the color silver, it required bleaching then toner. I left with very, very blonde hair.
not a big deal since I liked it and knew silver would be hard to achieve.

July 24’ I came in for cut & toner, I asked for 1 inch cut but we decided 2-3 inches would be necessary for my split ends.
I wanted to dye my blonde silver / purple with toner.

picture 1 is the best i could find of my hair before this appointment, it was past my tailbone length.
picture 2 is the “2-3” inch cut i received.
picture 3 is an up close of the toner job i received.
picture 4 & 5 are more pictures of the cut & toner. My hair was supposed to be a “straight across cut”

pretty obviously went very far from what I had hoped for.
The lady who did my hair was very friendly, talkative & motivated, however my biggest problem was in all my appointments at this location there is usually someone training the tech, checking in periodically to catch something like this is time.
during my appointment my tech had to hunt for her trainer multiple times for guidance and at the end there was a bit of a confrontation between the pair about what went wrong here. I was happy that my tech stood up for herself yet still very upset about the outcome and how dismissive the trainer (who checked me out at the end) treated me.

Cut $12, Toner $40.
the total i was charged was $42, so although I don’t believe I should’ve been charged for my ruined hair, I did appreciate the $10 discount.

My boy came looking to get fresh for his girls party they was gonna bang and they gave him this “fade” with the dry razor. He said the barber was 10 minutes late and came with Wendy’s NOT COOL 🤬😡

This place screams dysfunction. I have never cried after leaving the salon until going here. They didn't communicate well with me about what they were doing with my hair or what I wanted. I also think they lack the proper materials to do a good job.
Now I have horrible chunky highlights that I really didn't want in a brassy orange mess and my hair is much shorter than I asked. I really regret trusting them. To make it worse I was planning a really big trip next week and I dont even want to be in public now.
When I expressed this to them they basically said I should have known better and that I need to come back in. After spending three whole days in this salon, im tired and I look worse than when I originally came in.
The student who worked on me was nice, I just think this establishment is poorly ran.
