Our service technician was Vlad! He arrived at the exact time he said he would be there, he's was polite and tidy. He even wore slippers in my house.
Vlad checked in after the service call, to see how things were going. When my fridge was fixed, he came up with what would happen next.

This place is great. My washing machine had a problem. They sent a repair man within hours. He was friendly and professional. Knew his stuff. He found another minor problem and fixed it at no extra charge. I recommend this place and him

We engaged Nick’s to repair a Viking Professional refrigerator, noting upfront that we were aware some companies do not service this line due to potential difficulty sourcing parts. We specifically raised this concern, and were advised that this would not be an issue and that they could service the unit.

Following the diagnostic visit, we were informed that the compressor required replacement. We paid the requested deposit and were advised that the part would arrive within a week and the repair would be completed shortly thereafter.
After a week with no update, we followed up and were then informed that the part could not be sourced locally and would need to be obtained from the U.S. This would result in an additional $1,000 cost and further delays. This information was not proactively communicated to us—we only learned of it after following up.

While the deposit was eventually refunded, the company declined to refund the diagnostic fee.

Although we appreciate the technician’s time and effort, we were misled regarding the company’s ability to source parts locally and service a Viking Professional refrigerator—particularly given that we flagged this concern in advance and were assured it would not be an issue.

Under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, businesses are expected to accurately represent their service capabilities. In this case, we relied on representations that ultimately proved inaccurate, resulting in unnecessary time and cost.

Would not recommend due to lack of transparency and unprofessional business practice.

Igor is very pleasant to work with. He is polite and diagnoses quickly and gives you a very honest assessment of the issue. He works quickly and efficiently and there are no surprises in the end. Everything went as expected. I am very happy with his work. So far my dryer is working like a charm!
