My therapist has helped me immensely and together we have created a positive strengths based approach to deal with childhood, medical, and adult trauma. As a cancer survivor and someone who suffers chronic illness and severe debilitating at times chronic pain! My clinician supports and helps to formulate plans and find more support! Lifestance matched me with one failed therapist, Christine Watts, who refused to treat my OCD and C-PTSD, my main focus of presenting problems, and only wanted to lecture me about my relationship. She even yelled at me in session, then charged me a $130 late cancelation fee after cancelling all future sessions with her. They also matched me with 3 failed psychiatrists. One was a candiate in Moore and one was a PA who was not prepared to take on my serious case when I had specifically requested a psychiatrist. She did not adjust my medications and I had to wait another month until seeing Dr. Preston Hall, who took me off of my effective ADHD medicine for fear of attriibuting to my anxiety, and put me on something with documented high risk for those with ADHD developing severe insomnia, irritability, agitation, extreme depression, and suicidal ideation for months after starting, and after any dosage adjustments, which almost cost me my life. He agreed to "allow" me to continue to take my anxiety medication which greatly improves my quality of life, then declined to refill it when I ran out. I had to wait about a week without anxiety medicine until I could get it filled by my PCP and had to get switched back to my previous ADHD medication.

The booking of the appointment was staright forward along with the paperwork to complete prior to arrival. The directions were clear. I arrived 5-10 minutes before my appointment time, checked in, and was seen a few minutes later. Overall, a positive experience.

My experience with Keri Jenkins at LifeStance was wonderful and incredibly helpful. During our sessions together, she helped me work through several trauma related issues which improved my mental health significantly. Keri is a patient, kind, and informative therapist. She’s an excellent listener and truly wants the best for her patients.

We tried a technique that was new to me called brain spotting therapy which helped me work through trauma much more efficiently and gently than I ever have before. I was shocked at how well it worked for me. Many thanks to Keri and the rest of the staff at LifeStance! I’m feeling much better as my mental health journey continues on.
