I visited the Chicago Illinois Temple during a recent trip, and it was a peaceful experience. The architecture is unique, and both the interior and exterior are well maintained. I felt welcomed by the staff, who were friendly and eager to assist, especially when I mentioned I was from out of town. The gardens surrounding the temple are lovely, providing a nice backdrop for quiet reflection or a leisurely stroll. Inside, I appreciated the serene atmosphere which allowed for contemplation away from the hustle of the city. It truly felt like a refuge, where one could connect more deeply with their faith. Overall, it was a smooth visit that left me feeling refreshed and grounded.

This temple has made it possible for me to pop in, anytime I want, to do my family's work. Whenever I need a little pick-me-up and added peace in my life or just to spend time with good thoughts in my head, I go here. I have never encountered an unkind worker.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place with welcoming volunteers and missionaries. It is a place that allows for quiet contemplation and meditation that allows a break from the noise and commotion of our busy world. A place to learn more about Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father and feel closer to them in a heavenly environment with lovely chandeliers, architecture, flowers, and furnishings. A place of pondering and prayer. My family has visited this specific temple and many other temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and we have truly enjoyed all of our experiences and trips to all of them. The water fountain here is particularly unique and reminds us of a dandelion that has gone to seed that you can blow and make a wish on. The grounds are very well manicured and are a lovely place for a stroll or picnic.

Had just enough time to go worship there before catching a flight for home. A beautiful and peaceful place. The building itself is beautiful, the workers very welcoming and friendly, and the grounds are immaculately cared for. What a wonderful experience!

Decided to visit while in town, did not disappoint. If you’re visiting Chicago and are thinking of going to this temple I heavily recommend. It is beautiful inside and out, and the temple workers were all so excited when I said I was visiting.
