I went here a little over a year ago to see if they could teach me to beat people up, but they said they could not, and could only teach me to "defend myself". After arguing with them for a while, they told me I was "not a good fit" for their school. I was so incensed, I proceeded to challenge them to a Karate match, or what I normally call a "fight". The instructor accepted, and I vanquished my opponent in a matter of seconds. It was ironic to say the least.

This post is a make believe of a troll. Why would a reputable company even allow it???

I joined lots of gyms, a yoga and pilates studio...quit, quit and quit. Earlier this year, went with a friend to try karate and I'm still practicing, in better shape and can defend myself. Love the vibe at Northern - friendly, cool and fun.

The instructors are very dedicated. Students of all ages from 4 on up, the school is great for teaching kids about discipline and respect.
