If you’re shopping for hair products be wary of the improper signage/ they will advertise buy 1 get 1 50% - and express that the is old therefore they do do not need to honour the pricing.

It is an unlawful marketing strategy and should be reported.

The staff frequently takes selfies in the mirror, and are usually on the phone- your wait time will be long.

This is an opinion - they will support their business practices, and refute this- I advise against purchasing here.

Got a layered haircut from a “master stylist” Marilu and specifically asked for soft, blended layers. Instead, I left with choppy, uneven pieces that look completely disconnected from the rest of my hair. I booked an adult long haircut (my hair was mid-back length) for what was supposed to be a 60-minute appointment starting at $61, yet somehow spent over 2 hours there and paid over $100 for results that honestly look unfinished.
What’s most upsetting is that I had been growing my hair out for months to finally get a proper cut, and it was completely butchered. It’s been over a month and it still looks awful styled or unstyled.
The most disappointing part is the confidence with which it was done.
Talking like an expert and cutting like one are two very different things.

First time coming to Chatters and I’m very happy I chose the one in Guelph, not only was I greeted so warmly from the staff, but I had an amazing experience with Lizzy. I came in looking to get my hair styled for my upcoming vacation. I was nervous how it would turn out because it was a new style I was trying. Luckily Lizzy was up to the task to help me achieve the look I was hoping for. She was very knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to make sure everything was to my liking, her charismatic and bubbly personality made the time fly by. I will be back again in the future.

Lizzy did the most insanely incredible, mind-blowing job colouring and cutting my hair. I genuinely have never been so impressed with a hairdresser/colourist in every single aspect - from her technical skill, to how clearly she communicated what she was doing throughout the process, to her caring and warm personality. It was truly the most exceptional hair experience I’ve ever had.

A few weeks before seeing Lizzy, I had gone to another salon and was extremely disappointed with the results. Lizzy completely fixed every issue and somehow made my hair even better than I originally envisioned. She is incredibly knowledgeable and 110% knows exactly what she’s doing. I especially appreciated how she explained each step of the process as she worked.

It’s so obvious that Lizzy genuinely cares about her clients and wants to deliver their exact vision. She knew I had trust issues after my previous experience at the other salon, and she emphasized that I should absolutely let her know if I wasn’t happy with anything. I ended up being beyond thrilled with the result, but I truly appreciated her integrity and openness to feedback.

Lizzy is also just so much fun to talk to. She has such a warm, upbeat energy that it honestly felt like a good friend was doing my hair. And on top of all that - after I had told her that I was really bad at curling my own hair and wanted to improve, Lizzy went the extra mile and taught/showed me how to curl my hair!

Since my appointment, I’ve gotten soooo many compliments on my hair from friends and family. There truly aren’t enough words to recommend Lizzy. She is the best of the best, and I cannot wait to come back for my next appointment.

I just got my hair colored at Chattr’s Salon, and I’m absolutely in love! Ashley did an amazing job giving me the perfect red color without using bleach, exactly how I wanted. She truly listened and exceeded my expectations.

The color turned out so rich and beautiful, and I’ve received so many compliments already. The staff was incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend Chattr’s Salon and especially Ashley! ❤️✨
