I have always wanted to help patients navigate their healthcare journey, and being a nurse practitioner gives me the platform to do so. I chose this career to be a positive influence on patients, to prevent the feeling of being overwhelmed with healthcare, and to give patients the power to improve their health. My approach to patient care is explaining and educating. I want to ensure my patients understand the ‘why’ behind what we do and empower them in their healthcare so they can live their best lives. My areas of special interest are vascular medicine, vascular surgery and women’s vascular health.
