I had a great experience with this school. Michael is an excellent instructor—professional, patient, and very clear in his explanations. He makes the class easy to understand and creates a comfortable learning environment. I highly recommend Michael and this school. Thank you!

The academy was great, and I had a very positive experience overall. The classes were excellent, and I especially want to recognize the instructor, Mr. Frazier. He was very thorough, knowledgeable, and made the class a great experience. I would definitely love to have Mr. Frazier as an instructor again in the future.

The only thing I would suggest improving is the seating. The seats could be more comfortable, especially when you have to sit in class for more than four hours. Other than that, the academy was good, the classes were great, and I would definitely recommend it to others!

I attended the NYS DCJS Security Guard Training at Tribune Training Academy and was impressed by the professional instructors and super helpful staff. The class was organized, stress‑free, and the team really knew their stuff, making it easy to absorb the material. They offer a great mix of safety courses—including OSHA 30 Hour Construction and fire safety certifications—so you can get multiple credentials in one spot. I’d definitely recommend this FDNY approved school for anyone in NYC or Queens looking for quality security guard training and compliance education.

Top 3 things I loved:
1) Professional instructors who delivered the FDNY F-80 Coordinator of Fire Safety and Alarm Systems course with clear, expert guidance.
2) Friendly and helpful staff who organized everything and answered all of my questions promptly.
3) Wide selection of certifications such as security guard training, OSHA 30 hour construction, fire and life safety director and other fire safety programs, all available at the convenient Queens location.

I highly recommend Tribune Training Academy for quality fire safety and compliance training in NYC. The stress free training experience and the organized, knowledgeable team made it easy to get certified.
